국제 교육 개발 컨소시엄인 ICED(International Consortium for Educational Development)의 공식 저널 《International Journal for Academic Development(IJAD)》에서 특별호 논문을 공모합니다.
이번 특별호는 '학술 개발의 미래'를 주제로, 고등 교육의 VUCA 환경(변동성, 불확실성, 복잡성, 모호성)에 대응하는 방안을 다룹니다. 인공지능, 재정 문제, 다양성, 탈식민지화 등 고등 교육이 직면한 여러 도전에 대한 연구를 모집합니다.

IJAD 신규 논문 공모: 학술 개발의 미래를 탐색하며
《국제 학술 개발 저널(International Journal for Academic Development)》은 특히 고등 교육이 점점 더 변동적이고, 불확실하며, 복잡하고, 모호한(VUCA) 환경에 직면함에 따라 향후 10년 이상 우리의 업무에 정보를 제공하고 발전시킬 수 있는 기고를 모집합니다. Stein et al. (출판 예정, p. 2)은 불확실한 재정, 다양성 및 포용성, 탈식민지화, 인공지능, 정신 건강 위기 등 기존의 상호 교차하는 도전에 직면하면서 “우리가 아는 고등 교육은 한 세대 안에 알아볼 수 없게 될 것”이라고 예측합니다. CTL(교수학습센터)의 현재 업무와 증거 기반 실천에 대한 강력한 자료(예: Beach, et al., 2016; Mihai, et al., 2025; Wright, 2023)가 있지만, 자원이 감소하고 정부의 압력이 커지며 고등 교육 시스템이 위협받는 시대에 학술 개발(AD)이 어떤 모습일 수 있고, 또 어떤 모습이 되어야 하는지 다시 상상해야 할 때입니다. 이 특별호의 편집팀은 Donna Ellis (캐나다 워털루 대학교), Suzanne Le-May Sheffield (캐나다 달하우지 대학교), Kiruthika Ragupathi (싱가포르 국립 대학교), Gonzalo Zapata (칠레 탈카 대학교 및 P. 카톨리카 칠레 대학교), 그리고 Gert Young (IJAD; 남아프리카 스텔렌보스 대학교)으로 구성됩니다.

New IJAD Call for Papers: Navigating the Future of Academic Development
The International Journal for Academic Development invites contributions that will inform and advance our work over the next decade and beyond, especially as higher education faces an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) landscape. Stein et al. (forthcoming, p. 2) predict that “higher education as we know it will be unrecognizable within a generation” as we confront a polycrisis of existing, intersectional challenges including uncertain finances, diversity and inclusion, decolonization, artificial intelligence, and a mental health epidemic. While there are strong resources outlining the current work of CTLs and evidence-informed practices (e.g., Beach, et al., 2016; Mihai, et al., 2025; Wright, 2023), it is time to re-imagine what academic development (AD) could be – or needs to become – in an era of diminishing resources, growing governmental pressures, and threatened higher education systems. The editorial team for this special issue is Donna Ellis (University of Waterloo, Canada), Suzanne Le-May Sheffield (Dalhousie University, Canada), Kiruthika Ragupathi (National University of Singapore, Singapore), Gonzalo Zapata (Universidad de Talca and P. Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile), and Gert Young (IJAD; Stellenbosch University, South Africa).
